The client / Slovakia

Our client is a major Slovak event management company.

The challenge

To create an elegant and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere for events such as charity gala, wedding or conference, our Slovak customer asked us to find a lighting solution which was not only functional but also attractive. Several criteria had to be met by the lighting, for example:

Our approach

After conducting a comprehensive problem analysis, the team at ADUS Technologies s.r.o. crafted a server-client solution. For the server role, we opted for a Raspberry Pi minicomputer due to its capability to regulate lighting using GPIO pins and its notably low power consumption. A Java Server operates on this Raspberry Pi, actively interpreting commands from clients. The client component was devised as an Android application with a web interface, intended primarily for use on smartphones and tablets. Any effects generated within the Android app can be stored in a server-side database.

Impact

Provided solution is used by our customer on most of organized events. The satisfaction of people who participated in the events is often expressed by thanks…
