Our client is a Slovak government entity.
We were handed an incomplete website intended for delivering online educational courses for the client. The initial challenge surfaced when we encountered difficulties in loading the created courses. This undertaking demanded approximately 20 hours of systematic debugging and modification, gradually eliminating errors and integrating new code.
Upon the successful completion of this task, we delved into other aspects linked to this initial phase. One such task involved tackling the issue of effectively tracking the number of individuals who successfully completed each course. Through continuous development and improvement, we crafted a comprehensive system that not only refined the original website but also effectively monitors and manages processes associated with client's courses.
While addressing these challenges, we identified additional issues, including a missing manual, incorrect display of names in the header, courses being invisible in the "All Courses" section, and incorrect time settings where the countdown for a course, supposed to last 30 minutes, commenced an hour later. Simultaneously, we introduced key features such as Activity, Discussion Forum, Files, Achievements, Courses, Quizzes, Videos, and Downloads. A significant addition was the incorporation of the "My Tasks" section, enabling users to manage and monitor their progress and tasks more effectively on the platform. The overall outcome of these modifications is a complex and functional website that adeptly caters to the client's needs.
